March 26, 2012 Meeting Description & Associated Materials

With the help of the Fourth Bore Coalition, in March 2011, City of Oakland developed a list of projects to be funded with Settlement Agreement money. On March 26, 2012, there will be a public meeting to discuss the refined designs of the first six projects on the list. Oakland Settlement Final Project List

The final list of projects to be funded through the City of Oakland’s $8 million Settlement Agreement with Caltrans over the Caldecott Tunnel Fourth Bore EIR has been released. These projects are intended to ameliorate the operational impacts to the North Oakland Hills, Rockridge and Temescal districts of adding the fourth bore to the Caldecott Tunnel.

Pre-NBSSR Sound Study Measures Noise Levels along Hwy. 24

One provision of the Oakland settlement agreement was a noise study (known as a pre-NBSSR study) along the Hwy. 24 corridor between Hwy. 13 and I-580. Wilson-Ihrig conducted the measurements and prepared this report.
