Berkeley to Hold “Walkthrough” Nov. 1 3:30-7:00 PM

On Thursday, November 1, the City of Berkeley’s Transportation Division will hold a public walking tour to discuss potential improvements to the Ashby/Hillegass and Ashby/College intersections. Interested members of the public are invited to attend.

City staff and consultants will discuss the project objectives and potential solutions for each intersection, starting with the Hillegass/Ashby intersection from 3:30 – 5:30 PM followed by the Ashby/College intersection from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Please RSVP to Geoff Rubendall at grubendall (at) ci.berkeley.ca.us to ensure there are enough handouts to participants. If you cannot attend but want to provide input, email comments to Geoff by Monday, November 5.

Interested parties are also encouraged to attend the November 15 Transportation Commission meeting to hear the summary of the City’s recommendations for these locations and other improvements proposed for the Highway 13 corridor.
